Skype Password Has Been Changed
Your Skype password has recently been changed. You need to sign in again with your new password in order to continue using Skype. This is a security measure taken in order to prevent your Skype Account from being abused.
This is the message I started to getting on my skype. I did not changed my password and I am almost sure that no one hacked my account. I went to Skype forum and saw a thread where bunch of people experience the same problem.
On top of that when I go to change my Skype password on Skype site I am getting the following error:
Unknown error occurred. Please try again later.
I contacted support but still no reply. I used Skype correctly and I am also sure that my account is not disabled. Their support is catastrophic and I am sure they will lose bunch of clients. I myself am thinking to abandon skype and find another suitable messenger.
On their forum they only respond with lousy PM with an email where no one respond.
If you experienced same problem try changing your password by going here, and if that don’t help send an email here to ask for support.

Skype Login Problems…
I am having the same issue with skype. It looks skype is in big problems. On their forum bunch of people asking for resolution of this thing….

I don”t have any problems, I logged in two times today and everything is perfectly normal.

Nice to see you covering diverse topics but you should target more of contest keyword related posts in first month, Hellas. To dominate, you should be targeting page 1 from the beginning. Seems like it”s going to be an interesting and challenging contest than expected.

They finally repaired the issue. Here is the reply I got. Contacting them over an email was full hit

I get the message: your skype name and password were not recognized. Pls check
and try again.
This happens often but Sometime I can login with no problems using the same login and password. I also get unknown error.
I am using explorer 8, vista home, and AOL dial-up
how come the loging is erratic…Is the system overloaded?…

please in was using skype when i signed out but by the time i came back and open the skype name it couldnt and gave a message that my pasword has been changed succefully which it wasnt my will so i need my skype id back

My skype id is mayur.ratwani which is not working now, I have same issue, When i try to login in that. it says “Signing in failed. Please double-check your Skype Name and re-enter your password..”
And then when i click on FORGET PASSWORD and follow the instruction, it allows me to get email of Token and when i click on token then it also allows me to Reset the Password, BUT when i enter new password and click to proceed then it says “An internal error occurred”

Check those forum threads and contact the skype on that email and they will fix it for you.

Hello I am having a problem logging in my Skype account: ryzerie
I did not change my password but when I tried logging it says there my skype name and password are not recognized and when I tried resetting it, the password tokens were not working saying that I had more than one skype accounts on my computer. Yes, indeed, I have more than one as the computer is used my several people but I clicked on the skype name correctly but then again, there was an internal error. Please help me retrieve my password so that I could go back to work. I am using my skype account for work. Thanks

i have adangerous problem
while im online i suddenly sinned out and amaasage appear that the password changed and i should enter the new one i tried manytimes to sign in again but invailed i tried to reset the password via email but also invailed i lost my contacts and i made anew account but after 2 days the same problem appears with failure of all tries
i made a third account but after 3 days the probled came again
what can i do

I have an account with skype for a long time. Ihave home compuuter when is the account was sign in after that I have work computer used a same account. Now I cannot login to my work skype on home account. I do not want to have new account.They changed my password, why????? home account vegan1@optusnet.com.au
